A little bit about me: I'm Alessandra, a free lance franco-italian teacher. I got a degree in languages top of my year and I lived 2 years in the UK where I taught french and italian to english adults. As I was saying I lived 2 years in the UK and I moved back to Italy 2008 and my students, who really like our lessons, suggested me the idea of teaching online as well. I'm a free lance tutor and translator since 2006 , so If you prefer with an invoice, that wouldn't be a problem.
We're using Msn, Skype (which is completely free to download-at www.skype.com- and use), and they pay me through bank transfer, Western Union or Paypal (www.paypal.com).It would be 22 euros per hour to be paid before or soon after each lesson,20 euros per hour if 2-3 hours per week.
Skype is a good way to have lessons, and the connection is even better than with the phone, it's possible through Skype to send files and to write to each other.
I can suggest you some good books you can find on www.ebay.com or www.amazon.com. It's not a problem if at the beginning you don't have the books, I'll send you some lessons I've written on Pdf/Word and some scans from the books.If you write me at my email address,I'll send you my first lessons, and the titles of the books.If you want to concentrate just on conversation, I'll suggest you a book just for this. And i have also full odf grammar and conversation books. I have also books in Pdf I could share with you.
I'm also teaching italian and French to English speakers 2 mornings per week at a school of languages, in the nearby city.
I offer the possibility of RENTING A FLAT, a quite big and cosy place (there is also a stove), for a week or more in my village, not far from the beautiful lake of Como (I'll send photos of the flat upon request). With the possibility of having an intensive Italian or French course while here, in my office( The rent will be cheap If you decide to have my lessons too). I'm a professional teacher and translator. My village is a lovely and characteristic place on the moutains, at 800 mt (at only 12 km from the lake of Como, and 1 hour and 15 min from Milan). It's also possible to ski, as there is a Ski resort (in Cainallo, just above Esino Lario). Different possibilities of trekking on the montains (the mountain Grigna is just above Esino) and there are also many refuges where it's possible to spend the week end in a lovely and cosy environment.
I'm working from 7am (even earlier when needed and the student loves the language :-)) till 8:30pm so I'm sure we'll be able to find a time that would suit both week by week. That's my direct e mail: alepagus@gmail.com
